- Breakfast
- 09:00Walking tour of KutaisiUntil 10:00 AM. Kutaisi, capital of the Imereti region and main city of Western Georgia, has more than three thousand years of history — the ancient capital of the vanished kingdoms of Imereti and Colchis, where by legend the Argonauts came for the Golden Fleece. A walk through the oldest streets and districts. (If possible, take food with you for a snack at lunch.)
- 11:00Okatse Canyon · ☀️ 26°Named for the Okatse River: limestone walls 3 km long and about 50 m deep, crowned by a narrow 1 km suspension walkway ending at an observation deck over pristine countryside. The path runs through beautiful forest past the ruins of the Dadiani princes’ palace (18th century) — a pleasant descent out, a steady climb back.
- 15:00Martvili Canyon boat tripUntil 4:30 PM. One of the most beautiful and mysterious places in western Georgia, carved through soft limestone over thousands of years. Sail beneath steep cliffs, see an underground river become a waterfall at the canyon mouth, and spot fossils in the rock. Then the long drive up to Mestia.
